I just watched Google’s Super Bowl commercial – it features the voiceover of an older man asking Google to show him pictures of his now gone wife. As he sees the pictures, he laughs and reminisces about inside jokes and great times they had. It ends with him saying he’s the luckiest man in the world. It’s quite emotional, especially if you’ve witnessed someone’s life sunset. There’s a lot of cynicism in tech today (that is no doubt warranted!), but there is also a lot of good.
